About me

Hi! Welcome to my blog, Words with Weidner.  I'm Hilary, your 20 something, family and friends fanatic, Ph. D student, animal lover, DIYer, food enthusiast, science aficionado and fitness oriented girl.  I love trying new things and am constantly finding new hobbies.  So I figured why not talk about them! I will be talking about pretty much everything on my blog from traveling, to recipes, to reviewing various products. But I am new to the blogging world so it may take me a few tries to get everything absolutely perfect.  Thanks for your patience and most of all thanks for visiting my page! 

Here are some quick one-two sentence facts about me.  (I am a scientist therefore I like to be precise and accurate.)

I have a B.S in Biochemistry from a small liberal arts college, and while the keyword is small, it made a huge impact on my life.  I wouldn't have changed it for the world. 

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Molecular Biology and Genetics - hence the science aficionado. It is also quite a mouthful to say. 

My family is a central part of my life,  I talk to my mom everyday  - even if it is only a quick "how are you doing" text. She's my best friend, and role model. 

My boyfriend is my world, I honestly do not know where I would be without him. Truth be told many of my posts will be featuring him, either in images, text, presence, or moral support. I love him unconditionally. 

Roger and Sabrina are our "children".  They are absolutely spoiled and will definitely make some cameos in my posts. They are also best "fur-iends". 

To sum me up: I am a jack of all trades that will be blogging about my many endeavors. Enjoy my trails and tribulations. :)
